The Jodhpur branch was established on 16th september 1976. The branch has been growing ever since its inception and today Jodhpur branch of the Central India Regional Council is one of the key branches not only in Rajasthan but in the entire Central India Regional Council. CA. Late Shri O. P. Maheshwari represented Jodhpur by becoming Regional Council Member and made Jodhpur proud. The responsibility taken upon by the first chairman of our branch CA. late shri Jethanand Sharda of making the branch as one of the key drivers for institutes activities has been very successfully taken upon and carried on by coming office bearers and now by the continuing chairman CA. Dhaval Kothari. The objective of the working of the branch has been and always will be to serve to the needs of the members and students and be instrumental in carrying out the activities of the institute successfully. The branch is committed to the highest standards of service for its members and to maintain a polite and professional manner in the contact with members.
The branch has its own office premises which was inaugurated on 5th july 1998 by the then president of the institute of chartered accountants of India CA. shri rahul roy. The chairman of branch at that time was CA shri Nauratan mertia and secretary was CA shri Mahaveer bohra. On 16h Sep, 2021 branch shifted to our own premises at ICAI Bhawa, 91 Near Andaram School, Chopasni Housing Board, Jodhpur-342008 . The chairman of banch at that time was CA. Balveer Singh Gehlot and secretary was CA. Surendra Lunawat.
Today the branch is one of the largest branches with a total strength of 2122 members and a total strength of students of 3257. The city has the reputation of the producing quality-chartered accountants. over the years the city has produced renowned chartered accountants who have not only earned the reputation in their own field but has set an example to follow for others. The senior members of our profession have always been a role model for the upcoming chartered accountants and have always been at the fore front of the activities of the branch. The branch has a brain trust committee consisting of the senior members of the branch to help the members of the branch in various professional areas.
Imparting knowledge has become the key area of activity of our institute. The institute has taken various steps in this area like conducting of the cpe seminars, residential refresher course etc.

The branch has been at the outset very active in conducting quality cpe seminars and providing members access to the large world of knowledge. The speakers at the seminar are a very highly qualified faculty not only from the local level but also from the national level. The Jodhpur branch has been a successful host to various conferences, seminars and contests. The Jodhpur branch has had a history of organizing a good number of seminars, workshops, and study circle meetings.

The branch is not only working towards the betterment of members but also towards the growth of the students. The Jodhpur branch has been very active over the years in organizing student activities. the organization of MCS classes has been a regular feature in the activities of the branch. The manner of organization of the mcs classes has won accolades not only at the local level but at the national level as well. best faculties are called for imparting knowledge to the students regarding the management and communication skills. The branch has been organizing the local level elocution and the quiz contests. the branch organized the national level elocution and quiz contest in the year 2005 very successfully. The Branch organized CIRC Level Cricket Tournament in year 2008 and 2022 very successfully. The Branch Organized CA Students’ National Talent Search (Regional Level) – 2022 on 1st Feb 2023. The Branch Organized CIRC Level online Chess Tournament for the students in the year 2021 & 2022 Successfully.
The branch is working towards its motto and mission of serving the needs of the members and students and be instrumental in carrying out the activities of the institute successfully. the development of the website of jodhpur branch is a step forward in this activity.
